The program aims to teach young people and older adults to cook and shop for healthy, affordable and accessible food, while learning from one another and making new friends and connections.Įach session includes a locally sourced food box, loaner equipment, and cooking recipes. There’s nothing better than creating a nice, wholesome meal in the kitchen with family or friends! Through a grant from the Province of Ontario, older adults (ages 55+) and youth (ages 8 to 21) can sign up together for cooking classes. Please note: Payments that are declined or returned as NSF (non-sufficient funds) may be subject to a $25 processing fee. Make all cheques payable to: Township of Tiny.
